The North Carolina Zoo had a baby gorilla born Saturday, August 4th, 2012. No name has been made public as of yet. It is confirmed the baby is male and very, very cute!
Update zoo officials named the gorilla ‘Bomassa’, after a town of the same name in the northern Republic of Congo.

(My apologies for not visiting. August is a very busy month for me. I will visit when time allows)
