How to apply The Orton Effect to a Photo
I have made a tutorial on a completly free effect. Many tools cost a lot of money, but the Orton Effect you can apply completely free, if you use GIMP, and if you own Photoshop you don’t need to buy anything additional 😉 The Orton Effect can be that last 10-20% of magic in your photo. You can see the Tutorial here: goo.gl/kugMPR
This photo is from Sweden. Near Ryd there is an old junk yard, that closed in the 1970s. The old cars were just left, and as time passed by, a forrest grew up around the cars. Today this is an open air museum, and it is great fun to walk around looking at this ghost junk yard in Ryd, Sweden.

So maybe that leak a mile down hasn’t been stopped. And maybe it won’t be for some time, however heavy the mud might be and however much junk they force into the hole they’ve drilled. They’re 5,000 feet deep and trying to push mud against the pressure of liquid being forced up by the power of the whole damn earth crushing against it.
Sad? Despondent as all damn hell. Too gloomy for the crocus to be in focus.
