A shot from a recent impromptu trip to the high sierra along the Sonora pass Highway California 108. Not sure if this is an extremely long iridium flare or a stray meteor in the image but i love how beautiful it seemed to compose itself as it glides through the constellation Aquila almost perfectly parallel to the galactic lanes of the milky way. The Pines towering overhead also compliment the scene as they seem drawn toward the cosmic light over them. At 6500ft above sea level, the sky seems much closer and the balance of nature and the cosmos are waiting to be witnessed. What a delight to witness such a phenomena.
