Taken at the Butterfly Alive exhibit at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History www.sbnature.org/exhibits/butterflies/. Most of the butterflies in Butterfly Pavilion are native to the state of Florida, with a few exceptions. You can walk through the Pavilion experiencing the butterflies as they land on nearby Florida native flowers and if you stand still they will take rest on you. Taken with Canon 1D Mark III w/300mm f/2.8 L IS + 25mm +12mm extension tubes and 580 EX II Flash manual mode 1/4 power for fill.
