Awesome (old)New Stuff!

Awesome stuff happened today. A friend of the family’s dad used to be a private investigator. Today he dropped by and gave to me for free, the lenses and cameras he had left which he was going to throw out.

I took them with glee. A helluva a lot of glee. 🙂 Very good day.

So here’s the equipment, the main things are, a 300mm f/4.5 and 50mm f/1.4 to attach to a Pentax Spotmatic and A Minolta Dynax 8000i (half digital film camera) with 35-70mm lens. Aswell as awhole mess of extensions tubes, caps, hoods, old, expired, (but unexposed) film and other bits and bobs.

The best thing is, the telephoto and f/1.4 are both m42 mount lenses. And m42 to canon adapters cost about on ebay. So I can put these lenses on my 500d! And finally give back the f/1.8 i’d been borrowing after this happened.
