Last night I’ve caught a couple of cloudless hours before the moon rose and made a 1st attempt to the trio of galaxies (down to the left in the photo) in the constellation of Leo.

Total exposure 27 minutes (3×9 light + 4 dark frames stacked with DSS and processed on Adobe PS CS5, denoised with Topaz plugin). This image is a crop of a photo taken with a 400mm telephoto lens mounted on a Canon 5D mkII. Aperture 5.6 and ISO 3200. Tracked with Astrotrac.
