A few nice forecast images I found:
inside mount taranaki’s snow covered crater

I grabbed the opportunity to do a solo winter climb of Mount Egmont / Taranaki (2518 m) this morning. The initial mountain forecasts were for cloud but I had a feeling that the skies would be clear, and luckily for me my hunch turned out to be the right one.
This photograph looks South-West and shows the wonderful rime ice formations that line the snow filled crater. The shadow is being cast by the Sharks Tooth (2510 m) which forms part of the crater rim.
In addition to climbing to the summit of Mount Egmont / Taranaki I also did an ascent of the ice covered Sharks Tooth from the Surrey Road Entrance.
