Train car on a rail depot with 7 or 8 tracks no longer used that terminate at a steam plant. They use other means to get coal now. Fading history has it’s own charm.

Other history, the US auto industry will never be the same. GM is expected to declare bankruptcy on Monday morning June 1st. Visteon, Ford’s main parts supplier declared bankruptcy yesterday. (the tip of the iceburg) As someone said it will be a hot summer in the midwest and in the US. All of my immediate family is, directly or indirectly by proximity, connected to it. For example to how big it is, CNN said this:

"Throughout next week, Obama will dispatch eight cabinet secretaries and other top administration officials to Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin to discuss the federal response to the auto-industry crisis. The involvement of so many high-level administration officials in such an effort is rare. It reflects the administration’s concerns about the impact of such a large bankruptcy filing on already-hard-hit Midwestern communities with large numbers of auto-industry jobs."

US auto industry as we know it is history.
